BILINGUAL BOOKS
ANIMALES ANIMALS ABC
This book Introduces one animal for every letter of the alphabet using facts, phonics, and photographs. I chose animals that begin with the same letter in both Spanish and English to eliminate confusion while learning happens in both languages.
(ages 6-12)
ANIMALES ANIMALS - ZOO
Using the same combination of facts and photos, this book introduces more animals found at the zoo. Once again, maps indicate where each animal lives and the facts are shown in both Spanish and English.
(ages 6-12)
ANIMALES ANIMALS - FAMILIES
Designed for younger children, this book also takes advantage of real photos and teaches the Spanish and English words for mother, father, and baby in different animal families.

The ANIMALES ANIMALS books are bilingual and designed for English learners, Spanish learners, and animal lovers. Each book is full of fun facts and photographs with text in both languages.
Every page has the animal’s name, 2-4 photographs, and a map showing approximately where in the world that animal lives. An oral version will allow readers to hear the text read by a native speaker.
Children can become familiar with the sounds of both languages and learn vocabulary and simple grammar the natural way.
Bilingual books help children bridge their home language with the language they are studying at school.

This is the story of a 160-year-old doll that has been repeatedly passed down from grandmother to her oldest granddaughter across seven generations and four doll caretakers.

THE GLEN AULIN BEAR
This is the first of a series of stories titled "Bears I Have Known." Each book will tell a story based on my adventures and provide background information about where the bear lived. Locations include Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks.
